Working with Justin was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. He was always available to answer my questions about Leandro (aka Howie) and kept me updated with photos, videos, and even FaceTime calls. From our very first phone conversation, he was so informative—he explained in detail how he raises his Cavapoo puppies, their daily routines, and even provided information about their parents.

On pickup day, Justin went above and beyond by bringing Leandro directly to my hotel before my flight home, saving me both time and money. He took the time to carefully go over Leandro’s schedule, vaccines, and all the important details, making sure I had no unanswered questions. He also reassured me that I could reach out anytime if I needed anything, which really shows the care he has for both his puppies and their new families.

I can see the love and dedication Justin puts into raising his Cavapoos because Leandro is the sweetest, most affectionate, and well-mannered puppy. He’s already almost fully potty trained and has such a loving personality.

She has settled into our home so easily, joining our two Australian Shepherds, Jax (8) and Cash (4), and it’s like she’s always been part of the pack. Henry Family:

Justin at SunnySide Mini Doodles is the best. I reached out to him after doing a ton of research on breeders. Our last cavapoo (from another breeder) died at only 5 years old of congenital heart problems, which left us devastated. This time I wanted to make sure we worked with an ethical breeder whose parent dogs had OFA and genetic testing. We got that, and more, with Justin. He's caring, thoughtful, nurturing, and an absolute joy to work with.

When I asked to see the test results for the mom and dad of the litter we were interested in, Justin sent me everything within minutes. All the testing was up to date and excellent. Justin offered to do a FaceTime call with us so that we could see the puppies in real time, and it was clear that they get tons of love. We chose a beautiful girl, who we named Suki, and Justin sent us lots of updates and pictures while we were waiting to bring her home.

When he met me at the airport, he had her vet records, little bags of the puppy food she was on, and brand new toys to get her started. She transitioned to our home beautifully and is perfect in every way. Cavapoos generally have excellent temperaments, but hers is outstanding. She was well socialized with other dogs and people, and I credit Justin's early neurological stimulation and scent training with her easygoing nature (she's not afraid of things like the vacuum cleaner or blender, and she's so good when my daughters' friends all want to hold her and play with her).

Suki is almost a year old now, and not a day goes by without one of us saying how grateful we are to have found Justin and Suki. I'm not one for writing reviews, let alone long ones, but Justin is truly special, and his puppies are too.

We can't wait to bring home our second SunnySide cavapoo this September!!!

Composto Family:

Justin was so incredible to work with. I recently left my job to work with my husband. One of my conditions for him was that I was going to get a lil dog so I would have a little buddy to come to work with me. My friend knew I was on the hunt and sent me a picture of the cutest little guy on Good Dog. I immediately fell in love and messaged Justin. He was so quick and responsive. He answered all my questions, and told me all about the baby boy that already had my heart. My friend and I were driving to Utah 3 days later to pick him up.

You can tell Justin truly cares about all these little pups and only wants the best from them. He spent time instructing me on his vaccinations, temperament and how to take care of him. Justin starts them off with working on potty training and crate training and you can see his efforts reflected. Our new little guy, Charlie, has been with us for a few days now and has only had one accident! He is so sweet and well adjusted. We have goldens at home and he loves them. He was introduced to our nieces and nephews age ranging from 2-13. He was so sweet and patient with all of them. I owe all of that to Justin. He makes sure the puppies he is raising are all well adjusted. He has quickly responded to all my text questions, update pictures and even has been sending me all the amazon must haves to make Charlie the happiest little guy! That's how you know he cares so much.  

Charlie also made the 9 hour drive home with no accidents, whining or barking! What a good little guy!

Palmer Family:

We brought our pup home just before Christmas and we could not be happier with our experience. From the very beginning it was clear that Justin cares about raising well-socialized, confident puppies. Our puppy settled into our home so smoothly and right away showed a calm, happy temperament.

At his first vet visit, the doctor actually commented that he was showing all the signs of coming from a great breeder — he was calm and confident during the exam, comfortable being handled, and relaxed with new people. He allowed the vet to touch his paws, ears, and mouth without any fear or stress, which really says a lot about the way he was raised early on.
